West Bengal Staff
Selection Commission (WBSSC), Kolkata has issued an employment notification for
recruitment to the 599 posts of Lower Division Assistant (LDA) / Lower Division
Clerk (LDC) in Secretariat Offices, Directorates and District Offices under Government
of West Bengal. Eligible candidates may apply from 27th November 2015 to 28th
December 2015.

Rs. 5,400-25,200/- with Grade Pay- Rs. 2,600/-
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and
maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2015.Upper age limit will be relaxable for
SC and ST candidates of West Bengal by 5 years, 3 years for BC - A and BC - B
candidates of West Bengal, up to 45 years for Persons with Disabilities.
Education Qualification:
Candidate must be
Madhyamik Examination passed of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or
its equivalent and have elementary knowledge in Computer operation with typing
speed of 20 words per minute in English or 10 words per minute in Bengali from
a reputed organization for a period not less than 6 (six) months.
Examination Fee:
Candidates belonging to
Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe & Persons with Disabilities will pay only
Processing fees of Rs. 20/- while other categories have to pay Examination fee
of Rs.200 plus Processing fee of Rs.20.Candidates may pay examination fee
through Online payment gateway using Debit Cards / Credits Cards / Net banking
of any bank or may deposit at Tathya Mitra Kendras along with application form.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates may
submit application online through Commission’s website www.wbssc.gov.in or
through 1800 Tathya Mitra Kendras in the rural areas of West Bengal from 27th
November 2015 to 28th December 2015 up to 16.00 Hrs. Candidate should upload
scanned image of recent passport size photograph and signature. After final
submission of application, applicants must note Registration Number and take
print out of online application
