Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), A Government of India Enterprise, Eastern Region Transmission System-II has issued employment notification at www.powergridindia.com for recruitment to 81 posts of Diploma Trainee, Junior Officer Trainee, Junior Technician Trainee & Assistant. Last date for submission of application is 25th December 2015.

1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical) - 33 Posts
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil) - 07 Posts
3. Diploma Trainee (Electronics & Communication) - 04 Posts
4. Jr. Officer Trainee (HR) - 04 Posts
5. Jr. Technician Trainee (Electrical) - 27 Posts
6. Assistant (F&A) - 06 Posts

Age Limit:

Upper age limit is 27 years for General, 30 years for OBC (NCL) and 32 years for SC/ST categories as on 25th December 2015.

Education Qualification:

1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical): Candidate must hold Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute, with at least 70% marks.
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil): Candidate must hold Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board/Institute, with at least 70% marks
3. Diploma Trainee (Electronics & Communication): Candidate must hold Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from recognized Technical Board/Institute
4. Jr. Officer Trainee (HR): Candidate must hold Two year full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relation/ MSW or equivalent from recognized Institute with at least 55% marks.
5. Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical): Candidate must complete two years ITI Course in Electrician Trade from a recognized Institute.
6. Assistant (F&A): B.Com. With first division for General/OBC (NCL) and pass marks for SC/ST category candidates, from a recognized University/College

Selection Process:

Selection process will consist of Written Test (Objective Type), Trade Test & Personal Interview for Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) posts, Written Test, Computer Skill Test & Personal Interview for Assistant & Jr. Officer Trainee (HR) post and Written Test (Objective Type) & Personal Interview for Diploma Trainee post. Written test will be held at Delhi, Allahabad, Jaipur, and Dehradun

Application Fee:

Application Fee charges are Rs.300 for Diploma Trainee & Jr. Officer Trainee and Rs.200 for Junior Technician Trainee & Assistant (F&A).No fee required from SC, ST, persons with Disability, Ex-Servicemen and Internal candidates. Candidates have to pay fee online during submission of application when system will display a link for making Payment of Application Fee. Eligible candidates are required to apply online through online application form at PGCIL's official website  www.powergridindia.com under career section's link “Recruitment of Diploma Trainee (Electrical/Civil/Electronics & Communication), Jr. Officer Trainee (HR), Jr. Technician Trainee (Electrical) and Assistant (F&A) in NRTS-I” from 9th December 2015 to 25th December 2015.

Candidates have to upload Scanned copy of recent passport size color photograph with white back ground and Scanned signature of the candidate. After submission of application, candidate must take a printout with the help of unique Registration Number which shall be furnished at the time of interview (if called for).
