Age Limit:
Candidate's age should
be of minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2015.Relaxation
in upper age limit will be given to SC/ST category for five years and three
years for OBC candidates.
Education Qualification:
English Stenographer:
Candidate must have passed in Madhyamika or Equivalent examination from any
recognized Board. Candidate should have a certificate in computer training from
a recognized institution and have a satisfactory fingering speed in computer
operation. A minimum speed @ 80 w.p.m in shorthand and a minimum speed @ 30
w.p.m in typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes is
required.
Lower Division Clerk:
Candidate must have passed Madhyamika or Equivalent examination from any
recognized Board. Candidate should have knowledge in computer operation.
Group D (Process Server,
Peon, Day Guard, Night Guard and Farash): Candidate must have passed eighth
standard from any recognized Board. Candidate should have knowledge in computer
operation.
Group D (Sweeper):
Candidate must have passed eighth standard from any school under any recognized
Board.
Selection Process:
Selection process will
consist of Dictation & Transcription, General English & Typing Test for
English Stenographer posts and Written Examination & Personality test for
other posts.
Application Fee: Application
fee charges are :- (i) Rs.400 for all posts payable by General & others
categories. (ii) Rs.50 for English Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk posts
payable by Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe. (iii) Rs.25 Process Server, Peon,
Night Guard, Day Guard, Farash and Sweeper posts payable by Scheduled Caste/
Scheduled Tribe. Fee should be paid by Bank Draft issued by any Bank payable at
Howrah in favour of the CHAIRMAN, DISTRICT RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE, HOWRAH &
DISTRICT JUDGE, HOWRAH.

with Two passport size recent photographs, attested copies of relevant
documents, Bank Draft to Chairman, District Recruitment Committee, Howrah and
