flag bearer Plant of SAIL has released an employment notification for
recruitment to 03 posts of Surveyor, 11 posts of Mining Mate and 03 posts of
Blaster. Last date for submission of online application is 12th December 2015.

Scale of Pay:
- Surveyor: Grade S-3 Rs.16800-3%-24110/-
- Mining Mate: Grade S-1 Rs.15830-3%-22150/-
- Blaster: Grade S-1 Rs.15830-3%-22150/-
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and
Maximum 28 years as on 12.12.2015.Upper age limit will be relaxable by 5 years
for ST candidates and 10 years for PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.
Education Qualification:
- Surveyor: Candidate must have passed Matriculation and full time Diploma in Mining and Mine’s survey of three years from a Govt. recognized institute with Surveyor’s certificate of competency and post qualification experience of at least one year.
- Mining Mate: Candidate must have passed Matriculation with valid Mining Mate’s certificate of Competency from DGMS under MMR (for Metalliferous Mines)/ CMR (for Coal Mines).
- Blaster: Candidate must have passed Matriculation with valid Blaster’s Certificate or valid Mining Mate’s Certificate of competency under MMR Act, 1961 from the competent authority (both restricted to Open Cast Mines).
Selection Process:
Selection process will
consist of Written Test (Objective Type) and Interview.
Application Fee:
Application fee charges
are Rs. 150 for Mining Mate/ Blaster Positions & Rs. 250/- for Surveyor
Position. No fee charges for SC/ ST/PWD/ESM or Departmental candidates. Fee
must be pay through SBI challan form at the nearest State Bank of India.
