Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a notification for recruitment of Assistant Librarian in Gr. ‘A’ and Assistant Archivist in Gr. ‘A’. Applications are invited from Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and subjects of Bhutan, persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar and Sri Lanka with the intention of permanently settling in India and in whose favour Eligibility Certificates have been issued by Government of India.

Educational Qualification :
1. Assistant Librarian : Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce/Science and Master's Degree in ‘Library Science’ or ‘Library and Information Science’ of a recognized University/ Institution with three years professional experience in a library under Central/ State Government/ Autonomous or Statutory organization/ PSU/ University or Recognized Research or Educational Institution.
2. Assistant Archivist : Candidate must possess Second Class Master’s Degree in Modern Indian History and Diploma in Archival Studies from recognized university/institute with 2 years’ experience in an Archival Office in a supervisory capacity
Selection Process : Selection will be made through Personal Interview which will be held at Kolkata, Chennai, New Delhi and Mumbai.
Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs.600/- for General / OBC Category;Rs.100/- for SC / ST / PWD Category Candidates. No fee charges for Departmental Candidates. Fee should be pay through only Online Mode using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa/ MasterCard / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards / Mobile Wallets.
How to Apply : Candidate must submit application online through RBI website www.rbi.org.in from 21st September 2015 to 9th October 2015.Candidate must send printout of online application along with certified photocopies of relevant documents to The General Manager, Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Third Floor, RBI Building, Opp. Mumbai Central Railway Station., Byculla, Mumbai - 400 008 on or before 16th October 2015.
