Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) has released and employment notification for recruitment to 615 Act Apprentice in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder (G & E), Electrician, Ref. & A.C. Mechanic and Painter (G) trades under Apprentice Act’1961 and Apprenticeship Rules’1962.Eligible candidates may apply on or before 7th October 2015 (Extended from 24.08.2015).

Age Limit as on 1st July 2015:
ITI passed out candidates: Minimum 15 years and below 24 years
Non-ITI candidates: Minimum 15 years and below 22 years
Education Qualification:
- ITI passed out candidates (NCVT only): Candidates must have passed Matriculation/10th class in 10+2 examination with ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.
- Matriculate passed candidates (Non-ITI): Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ 10th class in 10+2 examination system or equivalent examination from Recognized Board.
Stipend: As per the extant rules and directives issued by Railway Board from time to time
Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination or 10th class in the 10+2 Examination system and having ITI certificate in the relevant trade is compulsory for Point- 1(A) only.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs.100 as processing fee (non-refundable) through Bank Draft on any Nationalized Bank or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA & CAO, CLW/ Chittaranjan, payable at Chittaranjan.SC/ST/PH/Ex. Service Man, Women, Minorities & Economically backward classes are exempted from payment of fee.
How to Apply : Candidate may download prescribed application form from CLW website www.clw.indianrailways.gov.in on A-4 size paper and send form filled up in all respect along with one passport size photograph, Copies of all certificates in support of date of birth, educational/technical qualification Certificate, Mark sheet of Matriculation, Caste Certificate and other relevant documents to The Principal, Technical Training Centre, CLW / Chittaranjan, P.O. – Chittaranjan, District – Bardhaman (West Bengal), Pin Code – 713331 by ordinary post on or before 7th October 2015.
